Madeleine is the lamp for the darker corner of the room. She has an urn-shaped ceramic base in deep matte black, with brass hardware at the neck and a wide cream linen shade that softens everything. The contrast does the work heavy and grounded below, light and quiet above. Turn her on after dinner, and the whole room lowers its voice. Wired to Australian electrical standards.
